What are the implications of shipping Soy Latte with your application?

Well after all its not legal, as far as I know Soy Latte is based on the non-gpl version of JDK6. However with OpenJDK6 this should be solvable.

Indeeed. In coordination with Sun, we're working to migrate the code to OpenJDK6/7 and the GPL:

This will provide a mainline OpenJDK-based port for Mac OS X, but until then, SoyLatte remains JRL licensed -- this precludes bundling it with an application.
