Re: JAVA USB Interface

I was looking into this earlier and came to conclusion that there is no any viable Java-2-USB project at the moment. Looks like all efforts stall few years ago. Your best bet is to use JNI against C/ Objective-C libraries.

Can someone point me in the right direction. I want to play with the USB port a bit and can't seem to find the information I need. I have seen the information about javax.comm, but this seems to point toward RS232 which I am not interested in. I just want to find the port/write to it/ and read from it. I have searched the sample code and it is all geared toward Objective C.
