Be aware though that in many cases the OSX kernel driver grabs the
device, and so libusb cannot use it.
This is very common with HID devices.
There is a libhid, but I don't think it has OSX or Java support.
Most likely if it is an HID device, you are going to need to use JNA
and talk with IOKit.
