tomcat problem

I seem to have done something brainless to my java setup but I'm not sure what or how to find it. I have had Tomcat working fine for ages, but now when I try to start it I get the following error:

I have tried getting a new installation of Tomcat, but with no improvement. Has anyone any idea where to look to fix this?
