Currently my CatDV application is still targeted at both OS8/9 and OSX users (and Windows, for that matter). I therefore build separate versions for the two platforms, from the same source, by dual booting between 9.1 (CodeWarrior/ JBindery) and X (ProjectBuilder) development environments.

I just tried unsuccessfully to command line launch a Classic application, can you Runtime.exec() one?
Or could you AppleScript launch one passing it some OpenDocument events?
If so couldn't you include a Classic java compiler application as part of your OS/X build process?
