For OS 9: MRJ releases appear at http://apple.com/java/ and via Software
Update.
For OS X: I've only seen one update (MRJ 3.1 DP2) and it was at Apple Developer
Connection (http://connect.apple.com) which requires a free registration.
Presumably there has been a previous Developer Preview 1. The current 3.1 DP2
release was a specialized one and did not address many of the issues in the
original MRJ 3.0, which shipped with OS X. One would suppose that a new version
of MRJ 3.x with broad-based changes will be introduced in more traditional ways,
not just appearing at Apple Developer Connection.

Reading this list is the most reliable way of hearing of new versions of the
MRJ.
