cocoa.admin.Authenticator

Hi, I'm trying to set up my Internet Config, but I can't seem to access anything without authenticating myself first.
There are two methods that I'm curious about in the Authenticator class:
public native void authenticateAsRoot ( java.lang.String )

and

public native void authenticateAsUserWithPassword ( java.lang.String, java.lang.String )

I've tried different combinations of username/pwd but i can't seem to get authenticated, does anybody know how to use these?
