JManager.h defines kJMExceptionOccurred as -60001L, which I guess makes sense here. I'm not sure why you're getting an exception, but at least the error code is right.

I'm getting a Java exception that looks like:

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError
com/apple/mrj/JManager/JMAppletViewer_OLD
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/apple/mrj/JManager/JMAppletViewer_OLD
at
