AWT Folder Chooser?

Hello all,

First, let me apologize:
this question has probably been asked here hundreds of times, but I couldn't find anything on the web or in the archives about it.

Now, the question:
I am using Java 1.4.1 on Mac OS X Jaguar, and I don't need to support anything earlier than that.
I am trying to get a Folder Chooser preferably using the AWT file chooser because the Swing File Chooser is just horrible. Is there any hidden option to get the AWT FileChooser to select only folders? Has anyone done the JNI code to hook up with the Nav Services?
