Mac OS X Java Performance moved to X-Code

I just have to put in here that java performance is one asset that Apple has to balance with things like creating a new movie editor or music tools. While java performance may seem sub-par, making it really great is not as likely to sell more macs as say a new web browser. I think Apple felt that creating a really fast development environment was more important to developers than really fast JVM. So many of the java group were moved over to the dev tools group. These are the trade offs they have to make when working with very restricted resources.
