Re: Issues with modal dialogs

Hi there,
I am new to the group . We are having certain issues with java on mac. The
modal dialogs seem to create a phantom image even after they have been
disposed. There happens to be no other solution to disposing them other than
shutting down the jvm. Please let me know of any possible solutions to this.

I have also experienced this problem as well as other misc voodoo steming from
the use of dispose() (Like other ransom windows stop repaiing or answering
clicks). It's been so problematic I've had to remove calls to dispose() on the
mac. Have you reported this as a bug? I haven't. It should be reported.
Assuming it has not been fixed in the newest beta... I haven't tried it in a while.
