Re: How can I "reveal" a file? Cross-platform

Couldn't you do an "exec" with the windows "start" command (similar to OSX "open")?

Does anybody have any good cross-platform code to reveal a file? I need to

What do you mean by "reveal"? Reveal to whom?

In what way is File.list() insufficiently revelatory?

You know, like in Safari when you download a file and click on the magnifying glass to "reveal" it in the Finder. So in other words, given a File object, how do I switch to the Finder and select the file? (reveal in Finder)

Also, how would I do the equivalent on Windows? IOW, switch to the Windows Explorer and select the file.

Thanks!
