Dear MRJers,

Now that both MRJ-apps and Safari are Cocoa based, it looks like we would have the capability to embed the Konqueror component with MRJ-applications (or within Cocoa apps).

I believe Safari is of the same family as Konqueror. Sometime back I think someone indicated it was a Mozilla based browser and this did not appear to be true when I looked at the open source origins of Safari a while back. Safari and Omniweb are both KDE/Konqueror derived browsers? Some of the work Apple has done in implementing it for OS/X is wrapped up in the the WebKit framework. Dmitry Markman has been doing some Java related with working with this that I think you can check the archives for or Dmitry can provide his links again. Unfortunately for me I think what he provides requires 10.3 and I am still 10.2. At least I've had no success with it and am assuming this to be the reason.
My rough current understanding, others more knowledgeable of the area should be able to provide you more information.
