True, but you need to allocate the instance before you init it don't you?
Until I added the prior mentioned alloc to the end of the create class definition method I was never successfully getting through the alloc.
I will look now at adding the init since sometimes I do get through the alloc. The timing first seems more to apply to how do I consistently and reliably get through the alloc though.

w/o more code, its hard to see exactly what is going on.

The SyntheticCocoa class is in an experimental folder.
Other related classes should come from
macnative.jnidirect.ns
and
macnative.jnidirect.ns.struct...

What I posted was most of the pertinent from the SyntheticCocoa class. I could also post the define or other smaller portions to the list if anyone has anything specific in mind they would like to see.
