Why does this not work?

I'm using Java 1.4.2 and according to the documentation is should support AES/CBC encryption.

But when the following is executed I get a NoSuchProvider exception,

Cipher cipher = Cipher.getInstance("AES/CBC/PKCS7Padding");

However the following does work:

Cipher cipher = Cipher.getInstance("AES/CBC/PKCS7Padding");


What am I doing wrong?
