Not sure what has caused this - but I'm perplexed.Dmitry Markman
So I want to start up my tomcat server:
sudo /Library/Tomcat/bin/startup.sh
or just me as a normal user
However my Tomcat server throws an exception trying to startup:
Apr 28, 2004 12:28:57 AM org.apache.commons.digester.Digester startElement
SEVERE: Begin event threw exception
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.apache.coyote.tomcat4.CoyoteConnector
But here's the odd thing - if I "su -" to root - then it will start up just fine.
I added an echo of my CLASSPATH:
Using CLASSPATH: /Library/Java/Home/lib/tools.jar:/Library/Tomcat/bin/bootstrap.jar
Is there something that could be coming through my environment? I don't have any thing unusual set.
Any ideas?
TIA,
Jay
