Re: OSXAdapter and SWT applications?

Yes, I've seen this too. It's when invoking the NSWorkspace.openURL or
openFile with a local file (not a website). I am doing this through a
URLClassLoader in a Swing app. I have found that setting the environment
variable fixes it, but I still haven't found a good way to set an
environment variable in a Java app. Have you?

I've working on a simple Java application that's using the SWT toolkit
instead of Swing. I'd like to use Apple's OSXAdapter so that my app can
handle the About, Quit, etc menu items correctly. Unfortunately, I'm
having some trouble doing this. I've written a simple SWT test app that
(AFAICT) is using the OSXAdapter code correctly, but when it's run I get
this error: 2003-12-30 16:30:23.159 java_swt[4175] Apple AWT: Running on
AppKit Thread when not expected. (src/macosx/native/apple/awt/awt.m -
JNI_OnLoad : 159)2003-12-30 16:30:23.161 java_swt[4175] Please file a bug
report at http://developer.apple.com/java/ with this message and a
