Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. At this point we will try the
.tgz route, and if that doesn't work well we'll go with the jar with
Mac specific code to extract and set permissions on the files.
InstallAnywhere is a nice product, but is a little pricy given the
current size of our company. Perhaps if/when we grow we'll switch
over.
Anyway, thanks again for the suggestions. Should an option not
suggested here work out best I'll post a followup.
