If it's the exact same place I'd say you need to figure out what class and
field are causing you the problems. Turn on or add debugging messages as
needed. You'll probably be able to make much better guesses when you know
exactly what field is generating the error.
If it's someplace else or in some other way you can get it to move around
I'd guess you're running beyond or out of something do to the size of what
you're trying to serialize. Try for something smaller or just something
different to serialize. If they work report capacity bugs on the packages or
VM whichever seems appropriate.
I seem to remember that trying to serialize everything to one big XML String
for XStream caused me problems some time back. There was some option to
write as you go that got around that. I still haven't got around to looking
at JSX, so not sure if default tries to create one big run on String or
StringBuffer as well.
