Has Smartspread either relinquished the copyright, or granted permission for others to use the code? "All rights reserved." suggests that they haven't. (Apple's sample code always gives explicit permission [in four paragraphs of legalese] for the user to do pretty much whatever he likes with it.) If not, anyone who uses the posted code is probably running afoul of the law.
