Thanks to Dmitry who sent me the optimized version I updated the code.
Now it run smoother.
Only my example has a panel a little bigger than the original Dmitry
example, so it is a little slower.
I have observed that increasing the panel size has a huge effect on
the speed, obviously.
I am a little lost in this regard, but is it opengl accelerated on
proper machines? I forgot the actual status of hardware acceleration
on swing panels actually.....
