VEP does *not* work on MacOS.

In the latest project plan (see
http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/indextools.cgi/%7Echeckout%7E/vep-home/WebContent/docs/current-plan/vep-plan-1.1.html),
there is a section that says that "quite a few people
want first class support for MacOS" (me too) and that
"implementation of this plan item is contingent on
receiving adequate volunteer assistance from the
community".
