Re: how do you install j2sdkee onto mac

Russ,
By chance have you tried installing the Sun J2EE 1.4 SDK for Linux as Christopher Elkins had posted on 12/23/2003? The install went mostly normal for me except one error found in my install.log:

ERROR - default domain creation returned following exception: abnormal subproces
s termination: Detailed Message:/usr/local/SUNWappserver/bin/asadmin: line 11: /
usr/local/SUNWappserver/jdk/bin/java: cannot execute binary file

The installer reported the error and recommended reinstallation after correcting the problem. Any insight as what to the issue could perhaps be? I am using 10.3.2 (non-server) with Java 1.4.2.

Thanks,
