Building Eclipse myself?

Hi,

can anybody help and tell me where I can find instructions on how to build
my own version of Eclipse from scratch? Is there any documentation available
that describes which packages I need to checkout from CVS and so on?

A fast search on Eclipse.org did not reveal very useful information.
