The product is an Eclipse plugin, according to the original posting.
Eclipse requires J2SE, AFAIK. Therefore, the Sun-defined Java extensions
mechanism and the J2SE use of CLASSPATH etc. surely applies.

I did. In the immediately preceding message.

My most specific suggestion was make a fake "tools.jar" and put it where
the uncooperative software is expecting it.

I even qualified the suggestions by saying that an adequate work-around
would require knowing how the software uses "tools.jar". Since I don't
know what the Lomboz software is actually doing with "tools.jar", nor why
it has this dependency, and nobody has said what the software's precise
needs are, my suggestions were necessarily unspecific.

True, I did make these suggestions in a different posting, but it was the
posting immediately previous to my posting with the higher flammability
index.
