I am trying to implement local object drag and drop. While I can drag Transferables, I seem unable to drop them successfully. In response to my previous posting, Kyle suggested that I make my Transferable implement Serializable. While this has helped with "application/x-java-serialized-object" flavor Transferables (which is a huge step forward), it has not helped with "application/x-java-jvm-local-objectref" flavors.

Rather than post another code listing, I would like to hear if anyone has had success using "application/x-java-jvm-local-objectref" (aka DataFlavor.javaJVMLocalObjectMimeType) in drag and drop. I think that I can use the "serialized object" approach, but I would like to know how to use the "local objectref" approach should I need it.
