Re: com.apple.eio

Not sure if this helps, but the JDK 1.4 Preferences implementation on OS X stores Preferences in the Preferences folder already; you should not need to go through a platform-specific API.

Great - so everything is different with Java 1.4, and we hav the
com.apple.eio package for handling mach stuff and finding folders.

But one thing is missing: the costants to pass into findFolder calls.

How do I know, what I have to pass to 1.4 findFolder, if I want the
preferences folder?

Any help appreciated

Cheers
