IDEA on Mac OS X certainly feels like a second class citizen at times. It's hard to believe Cmd-H doesn't work in IDEA. Even so, it's still a great IDE, and I keep my fingers crossed that it will get better on Mac OS.

This one bug certainly makes IDEA far less convenient for me than it could be. I do rather hope they figure out what is causing it, and either fix it, work around it, or get Apple to fix it depending on whose fault it is.

I have considered donating one of my soon to expire tech support incidents, but I have not found the proper JB person to talk to to make sure it would get used and listened to. Among other things, they would probably need to have something whose source they could send to Apple to demonstrate the problem, and I do not know whether anything less than IDEA shows the behavior.
