RE: [ANN]Learning Java Bindings for OpenGL (JOGL)

It was mostly a joke. I've found JOGL on OS X to be impressive to say the
least.

However,...I actually don't focus on the install in the book, assuming
anything I write about it will be out of date before it gets into print.

I have noticed that the JOGL build from nightly builds has looked for 1.4.1
AWT stuff(can't remember specifics), but the 1.4.2 install on OS X removed
something JOGL looks for. I believe I fixed it by replacing my 1.4.1 java
install folder with a softlink to the 1.4.2 java install.

hope it was a joke.

JOGL doesn't work well on my Powerbook G4
it freezes computer very badly
somebody noticed that that problem only on certain type
of Macintoshes but problem does exist that prevent me
from porting our gl4java application to JOGL
