What are people out there using for version control (e.g. MS Visual Source Safe)?
The old bad cvs.
Interesting stuff is on the way:
http://www.eclipse.org/stellation/

But i suggest stay with cvs and a lot of nice tools are your friend.
cruisecontrol. ant, maven statcvs etc pp.

And is there a Mac based version control application? Not unix/linux.

Do i miss something? mac os x == unix?
For easy installation of cvs use:
http://fink.sourceforge.net/ and the fink commander.
