Re: Where does output from kill -QUIT go for Monitor-apps?

Did you look in /Library/Logs/Console/CrashReporter?

The other day, my WO-app hung on a friend's OS-X-server machine, and I asked
him to do kill -QUIT on it, to get me a thread-dump. He did the kill, but
we can't find the thread dump.

We searched all over /Library/Logs/Console/<hisname>/*
(/Library/Logs/Console/ has only one entry: <hisname>) to no avail. I've
searched various other directories and just can't seem to figure out where
the output went.

My WO-app is running under 10.3.2-server, via Java Monitor. I am told that
the output goes to "the console" for the app running it. MyApp.woa
redirects stdOut & stdErr to myLog-<date>.log -- but the output isn't there.
Monitor creates a file MyApp-WO-1, but it isn't there.

Any ideas where I can find my thread-dump?!

Thanks!
