That did indeed seem to be the problem. Thanks. I submitted a patch that uses an array of strings for command line arguments, and that now allows Jester to pass its functional tests on Mac OS X. As you surmised, the current version of Jester was also broken on Linux. This must be something that changed since the last version of Jester I used.
