Hi-
We're seeing random lockups occur when a user selects a combo box on a
dialog. The drop down menu will display, and the cursor will turn into the
pinwheel, and stay that way. The only thing that the application responds
to once it reaches this state (besides Force Quit) is allowing either the
main application window or the modal dialog to be moved. The combo boxes
don't do anything special when they are selected...just show a list of items
to select. The list of items in the combo boxes are custom classes with
appropriate toString() implementations. It does seem to only happen on
combo boxes on the modal dialog windows - we haven't seen it happen on the
main application window.
We're on OS 10.2.8 using Java 1.4.1_01 Update 1. Application works fine on
Windows.
Has anybody else experiencing this?
