You clearly weren't following all the previous discussion. It's a bug in the
JVM. Unfortunately, it won't be fixed until Java 1.5.

Actually, in years that have a leap month as this one surely must, April is the 5th month. The amazing thing is that the JVM bug that caused this problem for Calendar.February results in correct behavior for April and all subsequent months in leap month years. While discussing this with the engineers at Sun, it was decided that this JVM bug will be exterminated in time for the next leap month year, 192009. So while we wait for the release of Java 1098 on OS CLXIV, it is recommended that we look at our desk calendars when we need to know what month it is.
