Re: JFluid on OSX?

I realize this is an old discussion, but a Sun chap got back to me with some comments that might be relevant, and I wanted to pass along a paraphrase.

On Feb 9, 2004, at 5:37 AM, Vince Marco wrote:

Has anybody heard if someone is working on getting the JFluid profiler running on OSX? This would be a great Java tool to have on OSX.

Me:

If I understand the FAQ, there are two different problems. You first
need Sun to release a JDK 1.5 release with the JFluid support in it.
You then need Apple to implement that version. Is there a separate bug
to vote on to get the support into the core JDK? (I will be filing a
bug with Apple to implement it as soon as the appropriate JDK exists.)

Them:

Vote for:

The good news is that Javasoft is really working on this.

I excerpted some specifics, as I did not get permission to post them.

He also mentioned that voting for:
http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=51312

would be a good thing as well.
