I am already using the SetSystemUIMode.
I happened to come across(though i haven't tried) that disabling expose through AppleScript will bring the System Preferences application in front and then it will do.
Is there any other programmatic way by means of which we can disable this expose.

Searching for Exposé in ADC yields nothing (the accented 'e' may be a

Exposé is a 10.3 (Panther) feature so it will not be present in earlier
versions.
