Java 1.5 and tiger

Hello all,
        I noticed on the FAQ that a preview of J2SE 5.0 is available for Tiger, but I was wondering if there was any indiciation as to when it would go final.  I think many people (myself included) were hoping that J2SE 5.0 would ship with Tiger, but from all indications on OS X website, it will not (it will come with 1.4.2 instead).  Thanks for anything you can pass along.
