Even if Tiger ships without Java 1.5, one might imagine that Apple would
choose the Tiger release as the moment to open up the Java 1.5 developer preview
more widely. If Java 1.5 for Macintosh still has as many bugs as does
Java 1.4 for Macintosh there would be advantages to it not getting loose in the
wild until it is as good as Java 1.3.x for Macintosh, the last version I would
ever use for a demo.
