if you can set JVM properties in jnlp (I didn't find in jnlp dtd that
option)
then you have to set -XstartOnFirstThread JVM property
in that case swt will work fine

Hi,
Has anyone successfully launched an SWT/JFace application using Java
Web Start on OS X? Has anyone used web-start with SWT's java_swt
launcher-program?
Ed Burnette produced an SWT/JFace email client (RCP) using web-start.
RCP loads and runs on Windows XP. On OS X RCP downloads and runs.
RCP's window doesn't respond to the close (red) button. I'm guessing
SWT/JFace and JWS may not be ready for prime-time on OS X yet.
Ed's JNLP files are a good examples of how to download extensions. Ed
also has some interesting slides about installing software.
