Apple's tried to achieve that--the
Cube was a shining moment there-
speaking about Cube
it's still working for me (4 years and 5 month now, knocking on the
wood :-) original 450MHz model I added memory and upgraded HD to 80GB)
I didn't experienced even single problem with that hardware
works very well
I will definitely install 10.4 on my Cube and I expect 15%-20% gain in
the performance
I'm testing all our Java program on the Cube and they run acceptably
