The odds are strongly against it, I believe. New OS, new Java
version. The Java 5 implementation probably relies on some of the new
features, and backporting it would be problematic. That seems to be
the history, and while past performance is no guarantee of future
results, it's often statistically the way to bet...
On a separate note, in looking over the Automator docs, I'm a bit
saddened that they didn't offer any kind of Java bindings to it. I
wouldn't have minded adding some Actions to my app, to allow for being
used in interesting workflows.
Ah well...
