So first of all, open the Xcode Documentation (Help -> Documentation) and try to find a Java class (java.lang.System for example) or any Java-related topic.
If it won't work, it would mean that you should reindex (or better reinstall) the Xcode documentation.
Simply go to the Xcode -> Preferences -> Documentation, press Check Now, download the latest version (~200 MB), and install it.
You could also install the original documentation from the Xcode disk image by running the Xcode installer (don't forget to include Java documentation which is disabled by default).

Thanks, this got me a bit on the way, before I didn't have access to the java documentation through the Help-menu. However, code/dot completion still don't complete/suggest when I type a dot.

Do I need to do anything further?
