Greetings,
I've got an application where I'd like to use the cool, rounded search
box that Finder, iTunes, and Safari (as well as Spotlight, now) all
use, with the dynamically created 'X', and the magnifying glass.
Right now, I'm using a Very Boring plain text box, but many OS X users
have asked that I turn it into a more dynamic box, and one that looks
like what they expect the search box to look like.
I didn't find a component like this in Quaqua, or in a good bit of
googling (perhaps for the wrong terms), but I'm very willing to
believe I overlooked it. Has anyone else worked on, or seen, a
component like this in the open source or relatively cheap world?
