I'm looking for a library that will let me do the following:
Open and view a PDF file
Highlight text
Zoom a user-defined rectangle of the page or the entire page
Draw on the page and save to a new PDF
Display bookmarks/thumbnails for multi-page PDF's
I've looked at a few third-party libraries; of all of them, Snowbound's
RasterMaster seems to have the best feature set. Unfortunately,
performance on the Mac when opening files is very poor, so it's not an
option. Big Faceless looks promising also.
Does anyone have a recommendation or first hand experience with a
library that is both a viewer and editor? Should I be looking instead
for a C library accessed via JNI?
