It takes their lib 70 seconds to open a 316k PDF on my dual G5 (!)
Same library only takes about 4 seconds on my 2 gig pentium.
The Shark profile listed two routines that were the hogs;
unfortunately, they don't provide source. I sent them the info,
hopefully they'll fix it. They must not get much demand for Mac stuff.
Too bad, cause their lib looks pretty nice.
ICEpdf is another one I'm looking at that looks promising.
