How recent? We found that in order to run SWT apps on Mac OS X the java_swt binary is required.

-XstartOnFirstThread isn't working for us. This is java version "1.4.2_05" Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.2_05-141.4) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.2-38, mixed mode), running on 10.3.8.

Is there a more recent java version?
