ODBC Driver for Oracle

I need to connect to an Oracle 9i DB using the JDBC/ODBC bridge.  I can do it on a Windows machine by loading the Oracle 9i client software and then creating an ODBC Data Source using the ODBC driver included.  I can't seem to find the client software for Mac.  I'm told it doesn't exist.  Does anyone know how I can accomplish this?
