Dear sir(s)

I am a newbie to java as well as Mac OSX. I am developing a small GUI application in which i have to show my window to the full size of the screen and to front of all applications. Since i am unable to disable "dock" and "menu bar" with java, i have called carbon API "HideMenuBar()" through JNI. This is working fine.

But when ever i set the expose' options enabled and move the cursor to any of the corners then my screen becomes small and lined up with other windows( as this is the property of expose'). This violates the condition of making window to screen size. Can any one suggest, how to make a  window not to respond to expose property or how to disable expose during my application execution. Is this possible with the help of java or any carbon APIs are available so that it can be called through JNI.

I think you want to work with Java's full screen exclusive mode.

No Carbon/Cocoa/JNI necessary.
