I'm not sure what you're trying to do.

Are you trying to run something in full-screen mode? (That's usually where I first think of BufferStrategies being used.)

Can you provide a small sample of code demonstrating your problem?

I try NetBeans, JBuilder and command-line with Java1.4.2 and 1.5 DP3.
