We're beta testing a new product, provisionally called "My 3D PDF"
which lets you drop 3D content into a PDF with ease. It takes 3D
content in VRML97, DWF, XMM (our format), or from a 3D PDF produced
with other Kaon tools or Strata Live 3D. The PDF your drop the 3D into
can be created however you like (no need for Acrobat). It applies lots
of optimization and compression automatically, and replaces the cryptic
CAD-ish UI built into Adobe Reader with an easy-to-use UI, appropriate
for sales & marketing applications.
We have versions for Windows 2000 or later, and Mac OS X 10.3 or later.
If you would be interested in beta testing this product for us, please
contact me (off-list). We're interested in feedback on how well the
product works for you, as well as feedback on market positioning (what
do you think this product should cost?).
